Why do employers use aptitude tests?
Employers use aptitude tests due to analyze a potential worker’s profile. The test results are a strong predictor of how an employee will perform and fit in with the rest of the company. For instance, there are tests that estimate how well a potential hire will work in a team, or how strong their communication and problem-solving skills are.
What do aptitude tests involve?
Aptitude tests assess a person’s skills, abilities, professional attitude and personality traits. There are a whole range of aptitude tests and the challenges you’ll face will depend on each. They’ll involve a combination of numerical tests, verbal concepts, abstract thinking, field-specific reasoning problems (financial, mechanical etc), personality tests and others.
What costs are involved?
For employer-specific tests, a flat rate of $20 for each test is applicable. This covers a period of 6 months where you get unlimited re-takes and are able to monitor progress reports and download certificates, which employers require, after each test attempt.
We also have free tests that are just meant for practice and no reports/certificates are issued after taking those.
Can I re-take the tests if I get a low score?
Yes. You’re able to re-take the same test multiple times in order to improve your score. That’s the surest way to success!
How do I download my test certificate / report?
Upon logging in, a new button ‘My Test Reports’ appears on the top right corner. This takes you to your personal test dashboard where you can view all your activity. Download your report under ‘Results by Quick’ tab.
The report contains your test result and a unique code which your employer should use to verify the result.
